The Most Beautiful Scenery Is…
Allah says:
“And Your God Is One God, There Is None Worthy Of Worship Except Him The Most Merciful, The One Whose Mercy Reaches The Creation”
[Al-Baqarah 2:158]
In this verse, Allah tells us that He is One And none has the right to be worshiped except Him. In the next verse He calls us to ponder and reflect over the creation around us.
The creation of the heavens and the earth, the interchange between night and day, the ships that travel in the sea, the rain Allah sends down from the sky, the winds that move the clouds and more. Indeed in all of these are signs for those who possess intellect.
Next time you go out into nature or see something amazing, attribute it to Allah. If you feel that your problems are too big, remember that you worship The One who created everything magnificent around you and He describes Himself as The Most Merciful.
Have faith and conviction and rest assured that Allah hears your call and will answer your prayer.

Who Bought The Land Where The Prophet’s Mosque Is Built?
The Messenger ﷺ said:
"O Bani-Najjar (Clan of Najjar), name your price for your orchard…” [Bukhari]
This hadith contains many benefits
Imam Al Bukhari R.A puts this hadith under the chapter of “The owner is more befitting to set the price.” This indicates that when bidding for a product, the price is set by the owner. However, in another hadith there is evidence to show that the one interested in buying can set the price/make an offer as shown in the hadith of Jabir R.A with his camel.
The Messenger ﷺ intended to purchase this piece of land to establish his masjid which is today known as Masjid An-Nabawi (The Prophets Mosque)
The Messenger ﷺ personally took part in transactions/negotiations which would benefit the religion
The Clan of Banu-Najjar responded by saying they did not want any reward except from Allah.
Summary
A Visionary Realises That They Require Facilities And Infrastructure In Order For Them To Spread Their Message. The Community Require A Place To Gather In Order To Learn, Meet And Benefit From One Another.
Practise Upon A Sunnah
The Messenger ﷺ would love to start with his right side when wearing his shoes.. (Bukhari)
As for removing the shoes then it is Sunnah to start with the left (Ibn Majah)
The Islam Of Umar and Hamzah R.A
It’s mentioned that as Quraysh carried on torturing the Muslims, there were two prominent men who accepted Islam.
The first being Hamzah, the uncle of the Prophet ﷺ. He was respected and feared by the people of Quraysh. They knew that once he accepted Islam, he would defend The Prophet ﷺ.
The second being, Umar ibn Al Khattab R.A. He was a strong man, feared by the people. It’s mentioned that The Prophet ﷺ made dua to Allah to guide Umar R.A to Islam.
Ibn Mas’ood R.A says, “The Islam of Umar was a triumph, his migration was a victory and his reign was mercy. Before he accepted Islam, the muslims couldn’t perform salah at the ka’bah. After accepting Islam, He fought to perform salah at the ka’bah and the muslims prayed with him.”
Lesson
Don’t underestimate the impact one person can have on shaping the rest of society.
My Thought
One of the first things the Messenger ﷺ did when coming to Madinah was wanting to buy a piece of land to establish his masjid.
When you ponder over this hadith you come to realise that this masjid was the hub for everything related to the Muslims. It was used for Education, Training, as a Community Centre and more.
In todays world with technology these hubs no longer need to be restricted to a physical location. In fact social media is pivoting more towards community, where people get to interact, mix and learn from like minded people who share the same values. This creates a supportive environment, a sense of belonging and helps everybody grow.
In sha Allah, we are working on having a community space for all those who are serious about becoming better muslims, meeting like minded individuals benefitting others as well as benefitting from others.
Will keep you updated
